Church Planting has a basic "job description" or an idea of what we do.

 The Comunidade Batista (Community Baptist) held its first service on March 31, 2002.   In June 2008, we joined with our sister church plant to become the Comunidade Batista Vida Nova.  (New Life Baptist Community)

This work started as the first church plant of Tim and Andrea Blazer and our colleagues, Dave and Valerie Smallman.    Joining with ABWE's other church plant in 2008, God gave us another family of colleagues, Bill and Sue Spoelhof.

What type of ministries does this church plant have?  

We are still in the process of planting this church and are constantly integrating new things into this ministry. We current offer:  weekly Sunday night service (including a praise band/worship ministry, nursery ministry, children's church ministries, and fellowship time with food), mid week prayer time, several small groups meeting in homes, Saturday night youth group and a college and career group, ladies tea/ministry of encouragement, outreach events, membership classes, membership growth seminars, membership ministry seminar, counseling ministries, and several one on one discipleship studies.
